GOYA (7th to 12th Grade)
GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth of America) at St. Katherine is part of our parish's wider youth and young adult ministries. Serving all teenagers in 7th through 12th grade, GOYA gives young people the chance to take part in worship, volunteer and serve others, and grow in their Orthodox Christian faith.
Founded on the principles of worship, fellowship, service and witness, this national ministry is led by a team of parents and young adult volunteers. Middle and high school students learn to express their faith through hands-on activities, including community outreach, honest discussion and liturgical services. They are also encouraged to take on leadership roles by helping with JOY and HOPE events, such as First Fridays and Vacation Bible School.
